Odencat released Wish Upon A Cat on iOS and Android. The mobile game is available now and is offered free-to-play with optional in-app purchases.

Players begin after a falling-out with their best friend. A talking mouse recruits them to chase a rogue ‘Oden Cat’ across short, pixel-art levels that span multiple universes. The objective is to catch the cat before its actions trigger a world-ending event and to repair the player’s relationship with the friend.

Levels are compact and designed for brief play sessions. Visuals use retro pixel art. The studio describes the experience as story-driven rather than a long-form role-playing campaign.

The cat is identified in the game as ‘Oden Cat’, a name that references the Japanese hot-broth dish oden. The studio’s trailer and in-game assets include nods to Odencat’s earlier titles, including Meg’s Monster and Bear’s Restaurant.

No platform-exclusive content or system requirements beyond iOS or Android devices are listed. In-app purchases cover optional items and enhancements; exact pricing and available content vary by region and device.

Players can download Wish Upon A Cat from their device app stores.
