The games are Fuzion Frenzy, BLiNX: The Time Sweeper, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge and Conker: Live & Reloaded. All four are available to purchase on the Microsoft Store or to download through Xbox Game Pass where applicable.

Microsoft announced the additions on its Xbox Wire site and described the release as an initial wave of first-generation Xbox software arriving on modern PCs. At launch the titles do not include Xbox achievements; Microsoft announced that achievement support will be added in a future update but did not provide a release date for that feature.

Reaction from players and observers focused on the selection of titles. Many highlighted that the four releases are less prominent than several cult favorites and major original Xbox franchises. Players named a range of games they would like to see made playable on PC, including Genma Onimusha, The Simpsons: Hit and Run, Jade Empire, the Knights of the Old Republic series, Unreal Championship, OutRun 2 and Crimson Sea.

Some players noted Conker: Live & Reloaded may attract interest for multiplayer or nostalgia, while others said the lineup is unlikely to prompt a notable rise in Game Pass subscriptions. The absence of achievements at release drew criticism from users who track completion incentives.

Microsoft did not provide a broader schedule for additional original Xbox titles or a timeline for when achievements will arrive. The company has previously focused Backwards Compatibility work on Xbox 360 and Xbox One libraries; this release applies the same compatibility framework to original Xbox software on PC.

Players can find the four titles on PC through the Microsoft Store and Game Pass. Microsoft indicated it will continue updating the Backwards Compatibility offerings and add achievement support for the newly listed games in a future update.

Microsoft added four original Xbox titles to PC via Backwards Compatibility: Fuzion Frenzy, BLiNX, Crimson Skies and Conker: Live & Reloaded, available on Microsoft Store and Game Pass.

[12

post-2468","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-latest

Xbox Adds Four Original Xbox Games to PC, Drawing Fan Criticism

<meta name="description" content="Microsoft added four original Xbox games to PC via Backwards Compatibility, like Fuzion Frenzy and Conker.
