The update focuses on a new tank hero, multiple balance adjustments and a series of limited-time events and cosmetic drops ahead of Season 10.

The Hood, Parker Robbins, arrives as a tank-class character who combines firearms with mystical powers. The hero can use an Oblivion Cloak to draw on dark energy and enter a demonified state. His Ultimate ability is listed as Gun Devil. The update will make The Hood available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X when it launches.

NetEase plans a round of hero balance changes at the start of Season 9.5. The roadmap notes a mix of buffs and nerfs is scheduled at launch. Full patch notes with specific ability adjustments will be published alongside the update.

The roadmap maps several limited-time events across the five-week window. Creed of Akkaba is set to begin a few days after the update goes live. The Krakoan Reels event returns the following week with a second volume of Summer Swimsuit cosmetics.

Summer Swimsuit Vol. 2 adds new swimsuit skins for Black Cat, Winter Soldier and Star-Lord.
