The update adds the Snezhnaya region and runs through Sept. 23, 2026, with limited-time events, character and weapon banners, and exploration rewards.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The patch uses two banner phases. Phase 1, Aug. 12\u2013Sept. 2, features new five-star character Odette and her signature weapon, an Arlecchino rerun with her signature weapon, and three four-star reruns. Phase 2, Sept. 2\u2013Sept. 22, centers on Flins with his signature weapon and an Ineffa rerun, along with three additional four-star reruns.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two web events open at launch. Snezhnaya Career Test runs Aug. 12\u201324 and awards 40 Primogems. Snezhnaya Travel Guide runs Aug. 12\u201325 and awards 80 Primogems. Both are accessible from the game&#8217;s special event section.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An exploration event, Mutual Aid in Bloom: Into the Frostlands, runs Aug. 12\u201324. Players join the Enhancement Assistance Society to collect Katheryn statue parts and earn 420 Primogems and various upgrade materials.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A new endgame challenge, Stygian Onslaught, begins Aug. 19 and continues through Sept. 22; completion grants 450 Primogems and additional materials. The Great Expeditionist Challenge, set in Snezhnaya, runs Aug. 28\u2013Sept. 14 and awards the four-star character Diona with a new skin, 920 Primogems and other rewards.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trial of the Bastion, a shooting-focused event that requires use of firearms to fend off opponents, runs Sept. 7\u201317 and awards 420 Primogems and materials. Ley Line Overflow runs Sept. 14\u201321 and offers double domain drops when using Original Resin.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The named web and in-game events in the patch notes provide a total of 2,330 Primogems in completion rewards. Event windows overlap with banner phases across August and September, which may affect players&#8217; scheduling and use of Original Resin.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Genshin Impact is an open-world action role-playing game from HoYoverse that receives regular updates with new regions, characters and timed activities.
