The clip was shared on PlayStation official channels and has drawn attention from viewers comparing it with other circulating GTA VI material.

Observers reported differences in color balance, contrast, lighting, color saturation, image sharpness and framing. Several viewers noted that character and environment details appeared softened or processed relative to other clips believed to show the same title.

                <a href="https://twitter.com/user/status/2089375091997974697" target="_blank"rel="noopener nofollow">
                    View this tweet on Twitter

Advertising and broadcast teams routinely apply edits to footage before airing. Color grading, contrast adjustments, cropping and encoding for broadcast or digital distribution change how visuals appear on screen and can reduce perceived texture detail, alter shadow depth and shift overall tone.

Additional technical possibilities include use of a compressed or scaled master, conversion from a trailer format rather than raw gameplay, or a placeholder asset provided for marketing. Each of these treatments can produce differences between an advertisement and other captured clips.

No official explanation from PlayStation or Rockstar Games has been published alongside the commercial. The title remains a high-profile release and any official appearance of its visuals quickly draws attention from players and industry observers.

Differences between footage shown in an advertisement and material shared elsewhere may reflect marketing preparation, delivery formats or image processing rather than changes to the underlying game build.

Footage identified as Grand Theft Auto VI in Sony’s new PS5 commercial appears altered, with visible changes in color, contrast and framing compared with other circulating clips.

[12
20
post-3126","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-latest","tag-playstation-news

GTA 6 Footage Looks Altered in New PS5 Commercial

<meta name="description" content="PS5 commercial shows GTA 6 footage that appears color-graded and processed; fans note changes in color, contrast and framing.
