The game will be available on Xbox Game Pass and on PC through Steam, GOG and the Microsoft Store.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Players assume the role of Tomasz Wolanski, a traveler who arrives in the lakeside town of Jeziorne-Kolonia to look for a missing friend. Gameplay centers on scavenging for supplies, solving environmental puzzles, and choosing when to avoid or confront hostile townspeople.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A sanity system affects play. Sonka describes it as a &#8220;fluid status effect&#8221; that erodes the character\u2019s grip on reality over time. Certain failures and events can worsen Tomasz\u2019s mental state, and the developer says some outcomes can lead to permanent madness.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sonka uses a painterly pixel-art style rendered with its 2XD Rendering engine. The engine allows a free-moving camera, multiple viewing angles and real-time lighting. Enemies can behave differently depending on the angle from which players view them, making camera placement a gameplay factor.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Environments are styled to reflect a 19th-century Polish setting, with details such as faded wallpaper, scratched appliances and period signage. Dialogue will be fully voiced in Polish and English.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Team17 is handling publishing while Sonka leads development.
