Supercell revealed in a TV Royale episode that the September Clash Royale update will add a new Hero called Ice Wizard, a new Minion Giant card, a limited-time Royale Shuffle challenge, a two-week 2v2 Competitive League and the return of the Princess Gambit Global Tournament.<\/p>
Ice Wizard is a Hero with an area-freeze ability. The Hero targets a zone and summons a Snowman next to the targeted unit or structure. The Snowman freezes all troops in its radius, stopping movement and attacks until the Snowman is destroyed.<\/p>
Minion Giant is a 4 Elixir flying win condition that targets buildings, including Crown Towers. The card cannot be knocked back, so effects that normally push enemies away will not significantly delay its advance. Copies of Minion Giant can be earned in the season\u2019s Album Event, Minion Academy Edition, by collecting Snippets to fill the album and unlock rewards.<\/p>
Royale Shuffle is a limited-time challenge running from September 21 to October 5, 2026. Players spin a wheel that assigns a random mode and receive a pre-made deck for each match. The format matches players with an opponent and the wheel determines which mode they play for that match.<\/p>
The September Competitive League will run in a 2v2 format for two weeks. Players must queue with a partner to participate and progress through a trail to earn season rewards. Completing the trail or finishing inside the top 10,000 grants a unique badge.<\/p>
Princess Gambit returns as the Global Tournament with a shared limited card pool. Players who finish among the top 100 receive a special emote, and badge upgrades are available based on tournament placement.<\/p>
Supercell noted the season will follow the usual monthly schedule, with the new Hero, Minion Giant availability through the album event, and the timed challenges and tournaments appearing across September and early October.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
