The files also show Team Voice conversations may be recorded and made available to moderators for review.

The details come from datamined entries and PBE files shared by community figures, including a leaker known as Arcane Jayden and the dataminer SkinSpotlights. The entries describe Team Voice as a system that allows voice communication between teammates who are not part of the same premade group.

According to the files, access to Team Voice depends on account standing: players must reach Honor Level 3 and must not have current voice restrictions. The PBE text indicates the feature will be optional, allowing players who prefer text chat and pings to continue using those tools instead of voice.

The leaks include references to moderation measures. Team Voice chat recordings are reportedly stored and can be audited by moderators. The datamined text also mentions a setting that lets players listen to incoming voice audio before choosing whether to join a conversation.

Files contain mentions of Voicemod and a term labeled “Voice Skins.” The entries do not define how Voice Skins will work but suggest options for altering voice audio, either through in-client tools or third-party integration. The datamine does not confirm any formal partnership or the extent of such features.

Riot Games has acknowledged that a Team Voice system is in development but has not released specific design details or a launch timeline. The leaked material comes from test servers and datamining and may change before any official rollout.

The files do not specify recording retention periods, which moderation staff will have access to recordings, how voice disputes would be handled, or whether Honor checks will apply to existing accounts. Riot has not confirmed the reported Honor requirement, recording practices, voice-modification features, or the audio preview setting.

Leaked PBE files indicate League of Legends’ Team Voice will require Honor Level 3 and no active voice restrictions.
