The title, developed by Juuso Hietalahti, first appeared on Android in 2015 and is now available on the App Store.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Survive: Wilderness is a bushcraft survival simulator that places players in hostile environments where they must manage temperature, hunger, thirst and health to reach safety.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gameplay requires preparing equipment, surveying surroundings, gathering resources and crafting tools and shelter. Players can hunt, fish, track animals, set traps and repair gear. Movement and timing are important to avoid threats before nightfall.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The iOS release includes years of updates added to the Android edition. It contains new locations, improved gear repair mechanics, additional ways to defend against predators and ocean floor exploration.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Scenarios change the skills required. One scenario places players in a swamp with alligators; another features freezing conditions in the Grizzly Mountains. Other scenarios include hiking along the Elk River with hunting and fishing opportunities and a stranded island that requires primitive bushcraft.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sandbay Games reports the title has more than 10 million downloads on Android and maintains steady user ratings. The game uses a premium monetization model: a single up-front purchase with no ads or in-game currencies, and optional in-app purchases that unlock extra maps and gameplay perks.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The original Android release remains available on Google Play.
