It is the game&#8217;s fifth major update and adds a new map, three new ARC enemy types, a reworked Raider den, changes to the trials system, a revised Reward Pass structure and a beta test for a PvE toggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n        <blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n            <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/user\/status\/2107192348270620878\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"><\/a>\n            <noscript>\n                <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/user\/status\/2107192348270620878\" target=\"_blank\"rel=\"noopener nofollow\">\n                    View this tweet on Twitter\n                <\/a>\n            <\/noscript>\n        <\/blockquote>\n        <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n    \n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The update will roll out at set regional times: 7:00 PM AEDT in Australia, 5:00 PM JST in Japan, 1:30 PM IST in India, 10:00 AM CEST in Central Europe, 9:00 AM BST in the United Kingdom, 8:00 AM UTC, and 4:00 AM EDT \/ 1:00 AM PDT in the United States. Players on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X will receive the update at those local times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Frozen Trail adds a new playable map and three ARC enemy types. The update changes expedition structure and maps to alter mission flow and enemy placement. The Raider den and the trials system get structural reworks. The studio will run a beta test of a PvE toggle so players can try player-versus-environment play without PvP elements during the test period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The update launches with two Reward Passes: the free Frozen Trail Reward Pass and a Legacy Reward Pass. A Collector Set DLC bundles both reward tracks with a Renzo cosmetic set, a Dragon\u2019s Breath weapon stencil, a Bob hair style and 2,400 Raider Tokens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To coincide with the update, ARC Raiders will be free to play from Oct. 8 at 09:00 UTC through Oct. 12 at 08:00 UTC on Steam, Xbox and PlayStation. The free play window will provide access to the full game on those platforms for the stated period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Frozen Trail groups map additions, balance and systems changes, new enemy types and the reward pass overhaul under one release.
