The game will be set in Hammerfell, the homeland of the Redguards. Bethesda has not released details about the story or gameplay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sentinel is the capital of Hammerfell. According to the series\u2019 lore, Yokuda sank beneath the sea. Ruins could contain accounts of the disaster, while temples could hold information about the Redguards\u2019 migration to Tamriel and traditions that disappeared over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another possible storyline concerns the sword-singers, ancient Redguard warriors who could create a spiritual sword called a Shehai. The game could include the teachings of Frandar Hunding, a legendary sword-singer, and tombs linked to the Ansei, the warriors associated with the tradition. Players could learn the technique during the game, similar to how characters acquire Dragon Shouts in Skyrim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fans have also connected Sentinel to a magic-free zone from The Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall. In one of Daggerfall\u2019s endings, later treated as canon alongside the game\u2019s other endings, a region several miles wide appeared where magic no longer worked. If the area exists during Sentinel\u2019s events, it could affect characters who use spells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bethesda has not identified the zone\u2019s location or confirmed whether it will still exist in The Elder Scrolls 6. The Iliac Bay lies between Hammerfell and High Rock, placing a possible location near Redguard or Breton territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls 6 before revealing details about Sentinel.
