Normal operations are scheduled to resume the next business day.

Management notified staff in an internal memo and told customers with appointments or scheduled services to reschedule or expect limited service on the launch date. The announcement did not include the exact release date, referring only to the game’s official launch schedule.

Company leaders described the closure as a way to let employees participate in the event without requiring personal leave. Managers arranged coverage for essential functions and informed clients about the temporary pause in services. The firm did not provide numbers on how many employees would take part or whether the time off would be paid.

The internal memo included a direct comment from the company: “We want our people to enjoy the launch and return focused the next day.” The message also encouraged staff who plan long play sessions to take regular rest breaks.

Company representatives said the decision aims to reduce unscheduled absences and on-the-job distractions that can occur around major entertainment releases. The firm also said it will evaluate customer feedback and operational impact before deciding whether to adopt the policy for future launches.

Grand Theft Auto is developed by Rockstar Games and published by Take-Two Interactive; the names and logos are trademarks of Take-Two Interactive.

A company will close its offices for the Grand Theft Auto VI launch so employees can play, pausing normal operations during the game’s initial release window.

[12

post-926","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-latest

Company Closes Offices for Grand Theft Auto VI Launch

<meta name="description" content="Company will close offices on the Grand Theft Auto VI launch so employees can play, pausing operations.
