Wuthering Waves 3.5 leaks reveal new five-star resonators - news.goranked

Leaked assets and an official teaser indicate Wuthering Waves 3.5 will add five-star resonators Yangyang: Xuanling and Suisui, a new Mengzhou area, two five-star weapons and events.

Leaked game assets and a short reveal trailer posted to the official Wuthering Waves accounts outline content for the upcoming 3.5 update, which datamines place around July 9–10, 2026 and running into August 2026.

The leaks list two five-star resonators for the 3.5 cycle: Yangyang: Xuanling and Suisui. The developer’s teaser confirms a new Mengzhou area in the Huanglong region and the presence of new characters and cosmetic items.

Yangyang: Xuanling is described in the leaks as an upgraded five-star version of a previously four-star character. Files indicate she will function primarily as a damage dealer and that Sword and Havoc weapon types are likely pairings.

Suisui appears in the leaks as a new five-star Glacio Rectifier. Leaked visuals show a tacet mark on her forehead. Role information assigns Suisui to a sub-DPS or support position, with her banner placement expected in the second phase of 3.5.

Leaked rosters for subsequent updates name characters for versions 3.6 and 3.7. Version 3.6 is reported to include Qingxiao, an Aero-element swordswoman in a main DPS role, and Jingran, a Fusion resonator likely using a Broadblade. Version 3.7 reportedly brings Hsin, an electro Fusion Sentinel from Mengzhou, and Suoming, a Glacio support built around echo-skill mechanics. Developers have not confirmed elements and exact roles.

The new Mengzhou area is tied to Huanglong and described as expanding storylines connected to Lahai-Roi. The leaks indicate narrative content in 3.5 will further explore Yangyang’s background and the characters’ search for origins in Huanglong.

Two five-star weapons appear in the leaks. Azure Oath is shown with 588 base ATK, a 24.3 percent Crit Rate secondary, and a passive granting a 12 percent All-Attribute Damage Bonus. Firstlight’s Herald is listed with 413 base ATK at level 90 and an energy regeneration secondary stat of 77.04 percent. Reported weapon types for the 3.5 banners include a Havoc Sword and a Glacio Rectifier.

Additional leaked content includes three event titles-Pioneer Project, Lament Recon: Tacet Crisis, and Virtual Crisis: Quadrant Trials-plus new outfits for Lynae and Chisa and a tactical hologram for Denia. The leaks also note plans to feature a male resonator in a future 3.6 banner after a pause in male character releases.

The studio has confirmed the 3.5 reveal trailer and the Mengzhou location but has not released full details. Specific elemental attributes, exact weapon pairings and final release timing remain subject to official patch notes. Community responses to the visuals and reported role changes vary.
