Wuthering Waves 3.6 launches Aug. 20 with two new Resonators

Kuro Games will release Wuthering Waves Version 3.6, titled “Lamplight in Mirage, Sword’s Resolve in Heart,” on August 20, 2026. The update arrives on Solaris-3 and introduces two new Resonators, Qingxiao and Jingran, each paired with a signature weapon.

Version 3.6 continues the main campaign with Chapter IV Act III, “Song of the Heart Sword,” and Chapter IV Segue, “The Nethermancer’s Requiem.” Players can unlock two new outfit accessories tied to the new characters: Qingxiao’s Cloudbloom and Jingran’s Snowpaw.

The update follows a two-phase banner schedule. Phase I features Qingxiao with the Wind of Transcendence and False Promise for Tomorrow convenes, and a new weapon banner for Glint of Clouds alongside a Forged Dwarf Star rerun. Phase II centers on Jingran with the Where Santu Beckons convene and featured convenes Thousand Futures Mirrored in Snow and Distant May the Starlights Be, and introduces the Thousandfold Deliverance weapon banner with reruns of Frostburn and Starfield Calibrator.

New combat content includes an Echo Calamity Effigy encounter, Phantom Echo: Myriad Snare – Rustfire Chassis, and a Tactical Hologram: Myriad Snare – Rustfire Chassis. Kuro Games has listed Echoes and Tactical Holograms among the update’s challenge types.

Limited-time events scheduled to run during the patch include Resonance Sim Realm, If Dreams Still Reverberate, Second Coming of Solaris: Coded Deception, The Strings Remember, Wuthering Exploration: Fogveil Pagoda, and a seven-day Gifts of Drifting Mist login reward campaign. Event participation will grant progression rewards and time-limited cosmetics.

Quality-of-life changes cover equipment and sharing features. The update adds improved Echo equipment recommendations, an equipment preview with smarter build suggestions, new Expedition Motorbike background options unlocked through main quest progress, and expanded sharing for 5-star convenes, gallery content, and challenge completion records.

Kuro Games plans to deploy the update worldwide on the scheduled launch date. The two-phase banner schedule and event calendar will roll out across the patch period as announced by the developer.
