Xbox Free Play Days: Call of Duty Black Ops 7, Diablo IV Free

Microsoft’s Free Play Days event opens two major titles to Xbox users this weekend. From July 2 through July 6, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is free to play for all Xbox owners, offering multiplayer and Zombies modes. The Black Ops 7 trial includes more than 45 multiplayer maps, Season 4 content and a new round-based Zombies map.

Diablo IV will be available to all players through July 7. The trial allows characters to reach level 30 and includes access to the Season of Death Awakening content. Any progress, achievements and Gamerscore earned during the trial will transfer if the player purchases the full game before the trial ends.

Subscribers to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and Essential can play Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure for free until July 5. Two additional titles, Demonschool and The Stone of Madness, are offered as timed two-hour trials through July 5. Demonschool combines tactical role-playing combat and monster collecting within a university setting. The Stone of Madness focuses on stealth gameplay set in an 18th-century monastery.

Several featured games are discounted during the Free Play Days window. Diablo IV Standard Edition is 40% off, lowering the price to $29.99 for the promotion. Ikonei Island is listed at 50% off for players who wish to continue after the Game Pass window. Other titles in the event may also carry temporary discounts.

Players can download the trials from the Xbox Store on console or by visiting Xbox.com. Progress and achievements earned during Free Play Days sessions will carry forward if the full game is purchased before the trial period ends.
