Zenless Zone Zero 3.1 adds Lumiflux hunter, free rewards

HoYoverse will launch Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1, titled “The Long Goodbye,” on July 29, 2026. The update introduces the game’s first Lumiflux‑attribute S‑Rank Anomaly Agent Remielle Dan, a second new agent named Sigrid, and anniversary rewards that include an S‑Rank character selector, a W‑Engine selector and 1,600 Polychromes. A redeem code for new and returning players is active now and expires on July 19.

The 3.1 main story centers on returning figures to New Eridu and a reunion between the Proxies and Truvia, heiress of High Ambitions Corp. New plot threads bring Lindverne Sunbringer of the Airspace Patrol Department into the plot and return Remielle Dan from an En‑Nah Gang hideout. The update was previewed during a special livestream that also announced a collaboration with Honkai: Star Rail.

Remielle Dan is the first Lumiflux agent and uses a new Attribute Flux mechanic that links her damage attribute to the next agent in the squad. She can build resources to enter a Phase Flow state that grants continuous squad buffs without occupying field time, and when fully charged she performs a high‑impact Assist Attack. Remielle interacts with a Lumiflux reaction called Refringe, which converts Anomaly Buildup into a burst explosion. Her exclusive Signal Search channel will remain open for the full version period rather than being split between halves.

Sigrid’s kit centers on a spear‑based Aerial Patrol Spear Form. Landing an Unbridled Spear skill places her in that form, enabling alternate basic attacks while boosting critical rate for a time. Her design focuses on rhythm and timing between charged skills and basic attacks.

Version 3.1 adjusts gacha and search systems. The first half of the version reruns S‑Rank Ether Anomaly Agent Aria. The second half features an Exclusive Rescreening channel where players can choose among three featured S‑Rank agents. A W‑Engine Reverberation channel will offer W‑Engine rate‑ups. The update adds a Custom Search feature that lets players preselect six S‑Rank agents from limited and standard pools; any non‑rate‑up S‑Rank signal will be drawn equally from that custom list. Accumulated Signal Search progress carries over between these rerun channels.

Anniversary rewards span login and event check‑ins. Version login bonuses total 1,600 Polychromes. A mid‑season check‑in event called “The Great En‑Nah Giveaway!” will distribute an extra 10 Encrypted Master Tapes, bringing the check‑in total to the equivalent of 20 pulls. All players can select one of five limited S‑Rank agents-Jane, Soldier 0 – Anby, Hugo, Trigger or Lucia-along with that agent’s exclusive W‑Engine during the event window. Lucy’s summer outfit can be obtained for free by completing the limited‑time event storyline.

The update adds gameplay modes and cosmetics. A permanent mode, Enigma of the Labyrinth: Operation Bagel, tasks players with rescuing Eous after a Labyrinth Carrot crafted by the NPC Joyous attracts a large Ethereal. A limited summer event, “Summer Waves Roll In,” features Lucy, Sigrid and Remielle in beach and shop management activities. Five new outfits will arrive in the shop, including two for Remielle; Remielle’s two outfits are offered as a bundle at a 30 percent discount.

Quality‑of‑life changes include replacing the Proxy Trial with a Beginner’s Guide that provides growth and team composition recommendations, faster Inter‑Knot account progression from levels 20 to 50, batch locking and unlocking for W‑Engine storage, and an optimized W‑Engine recommendation interface. Agent enhancement systems added potential vision options for Jane, Nekomata and Rina.

The anniversary slate extends beyond the game. The Zenless Zone Zero x Honkai: Star Rail tie‑in was announced, and regional food partnerships and themed exhibitions are planned. Specific locations, dates and promotional details will be published on official channels.
