HoYoverse will release Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2, “Their Secret Histories,” on Sept. 9, 2026, adding S-rank Agents Claret and Roxy, a new Armorer specialty, events and login rewards.
HoYoverse will release Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2, titled “Their Secret Histories,” on Sept. 9, 2026. The update adds two S-rank Agents, a new Armorer specialty, multiple limited-time events, seasonal content for Enigma of the Labyrinth, and cumulative login rewards. The Season 3 story continues with missions set in Vyrium in the Shrouded Reef.
Version 3.2 sends TOPS operatives to Vyrium to investigate a missing shipment of Porcelloy and unusual mutations in the zone. Narrative elements link a covert TOPS incursion into Roscaelifer, the lost transfer-station shipment, and a secret research facility tied to Helios Academy. The update involves characters from Flint Workshop and developments related to Airspace Patrol Department director Lindverne Sunbringer and remnants of Girtablullu.
Claret debuts as an S-rank Electric Armorer and head of Flint Workshop. Her kit builds Gash stacks on enemies that enable Maim procs and increase Laceration damage. Her skills calculate damage using her DEF stat instead of standard offense multipliers, and she can convert a portion of CRIT DMG into CRIT Rate. The Armorer specialty introduces Counter Assist, which can interrupt certain enemy Control skills and push foes back. Claret’s Signal Search channel will be available in the first half of the update.
Roxy appears as an S-rank Wind Stun Agent and chief smith of Flint Workshop. Her core mechanic, Eyes of the Storm, lets players hold her EX Special Attack to plant mini-tornadoes that can be gathered and detonated into a larger tornado; her Ultimate summons multiple tornadoes across a wide area. Roxy’s Signal Search launches in the second half of Version 3.2. Both Agents receive exclusive Tactical Prisms and Armorer General Gears for Enigma of the Labyrinth, and Hollow Zero gains dedicated Gears for each character.
The update includes several limited-time events and free cosmetics. Players can obtain Angels of Delusion outfits across Versions 3.2 and 3.3 through event participation, including a 14-day check-in Surprise Screening Plan and the Clink, Clank, Pinball Knight! collaboration that tasks players with building a pinball machine and completing its challenge mode. Additional events are Diary of an Orbie Parent, Chronicles of the Hobbling Crow, and Shadow Chase Showdown. Event rewards include Polychromes, Tuning Calibrators and other in-game resources.
Operation Bagel, the seasonal Enigma of the Labyrinth mode, receives a standard season update with new Z-rank valuables, character Gear, advanced challenge tiers, server rankings, season mission resets and a larger season-limited inventory. A Break-Even Beacon feature will allow players to pre-store supplies with a Bangboo so those supplies are not lost if an extraction fails. The developer has said a larger themed season update is in development for a later date.
Version 3.2 adds beginner support and system improvements. The Beginner Guide will include agents Jane, Hugo and Soldier 0 – Anby, and players who missed the Version 3.1 Agent self-select can choose one of those Agents after updating. Completing Phase 2 missions allows selection of the corresponding Exclusive W-Engine. System changes include an upgrade to Koleda, more consistent Perfect Assist indicators, clearer visual cues for Defensive and Evasive Assists, an Armorer-exclusive VR Training stage, and a new W-Engine called Bloodmarrow Coffer added to City Fund Benefits.
HoYoverse will offer cumulative login rewards during the Version 3.2 period, including 10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons, alongside other event loot and free cosmetics tied to the Angels of Delusion series. Returning characters Nangong Yu and Promeia will appear across the update split, with their exclusive W-Engines available again during their respective banner windows.
