Abyssal Soul open beta launches on Android with card-order combat - news.goranked

ChillyRoom has opened a paid, time-limited open beta of Abyssal Soul on Android. Combat uses sequential card order instead of energy; all test progress will be wiped.

ChillyRoom has launched an open beta of Abyssal Soul on Android through the Google Play Store as a paid, limited-time test. The developer warns that all progress made during the test will be wiped when it ends.

Abyssal Soul replaces a standard energy system with a sequential card mechanic. Playing a card consumes several cards that follow it in the deck, and players can preview the enemy’s upcoming card sequence at any time. Card position affects immediate results and later turns, so players must plan turn order and deck sequence.

The beta version includes 15 heroes across four classes and a card pool of more than 700 cards and blessings. Additional systems in the build include 120 Auras, 49 Runes, 68 Amulets, talent trees, recommended deck builds and a Memento system that implements a legacy-style mechanic. The game features unique card mechanics per hero and 14 difficulty tiers.

Abyssal Soul previously held a beta test in May 2025 and opened pre-registration in April 2026. The App Store listing shows a global launch date of July 30, 2026. iOS users can pre-order the game on the App Store while the Android open beta runs on Google Play.
