Battlefield 6 Season 5 will launch in November with a new map, competitive features, weapons and hardware. The season will also bring updates to the game’s REDSEC experience.

The Area 51 map will be set in Las Vegas. Players will fight to protect top-secret information while facing opponents across the new location.

Rapid Royale will offer a faster version of Battle Royale with more aggressive gameplay. Ranked Battle Royale will launch during the season, giving players a competitive progression system within the mode.

Ranked matchmaking will also come to Open Series Competition, Battlefield 6’s competitive mode. Players will be able to climb the rankings and compete for a place in an Open Series event.

The Halloween event, titled Siege of Las Vegas, will feature player-versus-environment gameplay inspired by Dead Space. Players will work together against a spreading corruption caused by an ancient artifact.

Season 5 will add new weapons and hardware for players to unlock. EA and Battlefield Studios have not announced the exact launch date or provided further details about the new equipment.
