Blood of Dawnwalker release set for Sept. 2, 2026

Rebel Wolves’ vampire action RPG Blood of Dawnwalker launches Sept. 2, 2026, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC; trailers show a day–night cycle, vampiric powers and a 30‑day story clock.
Rebel Wolves, the studio co‑founded by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz of The Witcher 3, set The Blood of Dawnwalker for release on September 2, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game’s Steam page lists the date and platform availability and shows a pre‑order bonus that grants an early‑game armor set.
The publisher will sell multiple editions. The digital Eclipse Edition includes a world compendium, a comic and the soundtrack. A physical Day One Edition adds a steelbook and a world map. A Collector’s Edition adds a printed compendium and a 23 cm Coen figurine. The title will not appear on Xbox Game Pass and does not support crossplay.
A cinematic trailer introduces protagonist Coen and his sister Lunka. The sequence shows soldiers about to kill Lunka until the head vampire Brencis intervenes, kills the soldiers and turns Lunka into a vampire. The trailer also shows a blood moon and Coen’s altered eyes, framing a day‑and‑night contrast that affects how the character moves through the world.
Design director Daniel Saddovski led extended gameplay overviews that displayed combat, exploration and character progression. Combat mixes swordplay and magic, and the game uses three upgrade trees: Witchcraft, Swordmastery and Vampirism. Vampire abilities such as Shadowstep and Focus Mode let Coen move across rooftops and detect hidden points of interest. The day‑night cycle changes available powers and enemy behavior.
The main story runs on a 30‑day clock. Players have 30 days and nights to try to save Coen’s family. Some quests are time‑limited and failing those objectives can alter character fates and outcomes, but missing a window does not end the game. The developers confirmed that exploring the open world does not advance the day counter.
Gameplay footage showed missions that can be approached in multiple ways. Players can use stealth or social routes during the day while remaining mostly human, or use vampiric tools at night for combat and infiltration. One mission highlighted in the footage required retrieving a sword and illustrated how level design supports distinct daytime and nighttime approaches.
As reported previously, NetEase Games released Season 8 Vol. 2 for Dunk City Dynasty and added six-time NBA All-Star Blake Griffin to the playable roster.
