Clash Royale Season 88 adds Shocktober events and rewards

Clash Royale Season 88 is underway for October 2026 with the Shocktober theme. The season adds Hero Electro Wizard, Evolution Electro Giant, seasonal events and rewards that include an Emote and a Tower Skin.

The Shocktober: The Movie! Album Event runs from October 6 to November 2. Players collect Snippets and use them to complete movie poster scenes featuring Clash Royale troops. Snippets are available in Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary rarities through daily Battle Rewards, events and the Shop.

Players can receive up to three Snippets through daily Battle Rewards. Four duplicate Snippets can be exchanged for one Unique Snippet. Common and Rare duplicates provide three exchange units, while Epic and Legendary duplicates provide four. Completing the Album awards Evolution Electro Giant, an exclusive Emote and a Tower Skin. Extra Snippets collected after completion will be converted into bonus rewards.

During the final week of the Album Event, daily rewards will provide Unique Snippets instead of random pieces. The event is available to players from Arena 3.

C.H.A.O.S returns with 20 new cards in its pool and several rule variants. C.H.A.O.S Blackout runs from October 19 to October 26, while C.H.A.O.S Draft runs from October 19 to November 2. C.H.A.O.S Power Surge is scheduled for October 26 to November 2. Players can also discover a secret badge called “Alternating Currents.”

The Spooky Chess Competitive League runs from October 5 to October 19. Players must defeat an opponent’s wall of troops and towers before destroying the opposing King while protecting their own King. The League awards one badge for completing the League Road and another for placing among the top 10,000 players on the leaderboard.

The Power Surge Global Tournament runs from October 20 to October 25. Participants can earn a Power Surge badge, while players who finish among the top 10,000 receive a separate Leaderboard Finisher Badge.

The annual 20-Win Challenge returns from October 26 to November 2. Players must win 20 matches with fewer than three losses. Reaching 20 wins awards the exclusive 20-Win Challenge Emote.

The Keep the Lights On Community Event will give players a shared objective. Each day, players must win one battle before choosing a reward from the red or blue side of a grid. The choice will add or remove energy from a community power source. The energy remaining when the event ends will determine a reward for participating players. More details are expected before the event begins.
