Clash Royale Shocktober adds Hero Electro Wizard, Evo Giant

Supercell confirmed Season 88 for October 2026 under the Shocktober theme. The update brings the Hero Electro Wizard and the Evolution Electro Giant, revives the C.H.A.O.S. mode and introduces a horror-themed Album Event, the CRL 20 Win Challenge and a community event called Keep the Lights On.

The Hero Electro Wizard retains the base Electro Wizard behavior but adds Hero traits. The unit stuns enemies when it spawns and on each attack, and it can target two units at once. Its Hero ability fires two beams that lock onto the nearest enemies; the beams stun targets and deal continuous damage while connected.

The Evolution Electro Giant arrives with a Zap Pack mechanic. The Pack charges every few seconds and then releases a shockwave that removes levels from units caught in its radius, causing affected troops to shrink visually. Supercell describes the effect as the reverse of a unit that buffs allied levels, since the pulses reduce levels on nearby units.

C.H.A.O.S. returns for a third season with 20 additional cards added to the pool. In this iteration, every modifier a player selects will share the same rarity, and players are guaranteed to receive at least one Epic modifier by their fourth pick.

The season’s Album Event is themed around horror movies. Players will collect Snippets to complete Album sections and unlock rewards tied to progress through those sections.

The CRL 20 Win Challenge returns with the same conditions as before: players aim for 20 wins and are eliminated after three losses.

The Keep the Lights On community event links every player’s choices to a shared energy meter. Some choices increase the meter and others reduce it; the final position of the meter determines the reward that all participants receive.

Previous seasons introduced Hero and Evolution mechanics to Clash Royale. Shocktober runs during October, matching the Halloween period and offering new gameplay options for the month.
