Valve rolled out a Counter-Strike 2 patch that begins Premier Season 5, overhauls bomb blast damage, and adds Arabesque and Spy Tech collections, Fruits & Vegetables stickers and five community maps.

Valve released a Counter-Strike 2 update that begins Premier Mode Season 5 and changes how bomb explosions are calculated across maps.

After detonation, the blast wave now spreads outward from the planted C4 across the map layout. Players positioned very close at the moment of the blast are still eliminated instantly. The shockwave weakens as it travels, is blocked by walls, and loses force around corners.

Valve published the bomb blast radius for each map in the current Active Duty pool. Under the new model, damage drops with distance and with obstacles that interrupt the blast path.

The patch adds two weapon collections, Arabesque and Spy Tech. A Fruits & Vegetables sticker collection is now part of the sticker capsule lineup.

Five community-made maps-Boulder, Fachwerk, Shelter, Debris and El Dorado-have been added to the game.

The season reset in Premier Mode starts with this patch. No additional changes to Premier rules were announced.
