DC: Dark Legion adds Robin; Batman Day event returns

DC: Dark Legion will add Dick Grayson as Robin after its Echoes of the Batcave Batman Day event, which runs Sept. 18–26 on iOS, Android and PC. No exact release date for Robin yet.

FunPlus will add Dick Grayson as Robin to DC: Dark Legion shortly after the game’s Echoes of the Batcave event, which runs Sept. 18–26 on iOS, Android and PC. The developer has not given a firm release date for Robin beyond saying he will arrive soon after the event ends on Sept. 26.

Echoes of the Batcave sends players into the Batcave with members of the Bat-Family to complete event activities and claim rewards. The event includes Drop Target Drills, a pinball-style minigame with playable turns from Dick Grayson, Barbara Gordon, Tim Drake and Damian Wayne; Shadows and Secrets, a social activity that involves posting Batarangs to other players; and Surprise, which requires using a Batscanner to complete objectives and unlock items.

Available rewards include in-game currencies, a Batman-themed frame and a Wayne Tower base skin. FunPlus is returning the same Batcave environment and core activities it used in last year’s Batman Day event, though the specific reward list may differ from the previous run.

Dick Grayson previously appeared in DC: Dark Legion as Nightwing last summer. The upcoming Robin entry represents a younger iteration of the character and joins a roster that already includes other Bat-Family members.

Players evaluating whether to allocate resources to Robin can consult community tier lists and guides for comparisons with other characters. Echoes of the Batcave runs through Sept. 26; Robin will be added to the game roster after the event concludes.
