DC: Dark Legion launches Supergirl event tied to film

DC: Dark Legion launched a Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow event adding a Milly Alcock–inspired Supergirl, playable Lobo and Superman, and a film‑inspired storyline with new rewards.

Mobile game DC: Dark Legion has launched a timed event called Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow that adds a Milly Alcock–inspired Supergirl to the playable roster and ties in story elements from the upcoming Supergirl film.

Players can recruit the new Supergirl character based on Alcock’s portrayal, obtain a Lobo character depicted by Jason Momoa, and play as Superman. The event includes a dedicated storyline that recreates locations and plot beats from the movie, sending players into conflicts with the antagonist Krem and his forces.

Completing chapters in the event unlocks character rewards and themed items linked to the film. One cosmetic reward is a base skin modeled on Supergirl’s starship, which players can use to redecorate their in‑game headquarters.

The event introduces a new collectible currency, Alien Popcorn Buckets, earned through daily tasks. Players can send these buckets to friends to claim special rewards. A gameplay mechanic labeled Puppy Luck grants temporary attack boosts during battles to assist progression through event content.

The update is available from the game’s event menu. Players can unlock the featured roster members and complete event tasks to collect the themed cosmetics and gameplay bonuses while the event runs.

Supergirl’s standalone film represents the character’s first solo theatrical release. The DCU relaunch has returned several characters to cinemas, and this in‑game event functions as a companion tie‑in to the film’s release schedule and its visual style.

The appearance of Jason Momoa’s Lobo in the game marks his return to the DC universe within the title’s playable cast, while the Alcock‑inspired Supergirl aligns the in‑game design with the film’s version of the character.
