Delta Force Mobile marks 2nd anniversary with Rover, map revamp

Delta Force Mobile released its Season 11 “Reorientation” update on Sept. 8 as part of the game’s second-anniversary content. The update adds a new operator and a major map overhaul, and the primary anniversary event begins Sept. 26.

The new operator, Rover (Rowan Walsh), joins the roster with a trained canine partner named Clover. Rover is a support-focused operator. Clover can search for nearby enemies, chase and damage targets, and mark foes for the squad. Rover’s kit includes a Dart Rifle, Irritant Smoke, Clover’s Whistle, Frostbite and Permafrost. Level Infinite wrote that these tools are designed to disrupt enemy positions, reveal targets obscured by smoke, assist teammate recovery from status effects and extend the tactical value of revives.

Layali Grove 2.0 has been substantially reworked. The map adds three new zones and new waterways that connect more areas and create alternate approaches. Route changes near locations such as the WSR Lab open different lines of attack and defense. The update introduces interactive fishing in specific areas; fishing equipment such as rods, lines, reels and bait affects what players can catch and how those catches influence gameplay.

The update also delivers a new Warfare mode map and debuts the Mog map, which recreates a Black Hawk Down-style scenario. New content includes the Amphibious LSV vehicle, two weapons-the Thompson SMG and the MDR Assault Rifle-and new ammunition types. The release contains a Season Pass, anniversary-themed events, free rewards including weapon finishes and camos, and a series of quality-of-life fixes.

Level Infinite noted that the anniversary content is rolling out to the mobile version of the game and that the main event will run from Sept. 26 alongside other in-game activities. The developer presented the Reorientation update as the opening content drop for Season 11; Delta Force Mobile launched two years ago.
