Dunk City Dynasty Season 8 Adds Haliburton, Turner

NetEase launched Dunk City Dynasty Season 8, adding NBA players Tyrese Haliburton and Myles Turner and introducing No-Penalty Challenges, seasonal events and new cosmetics.

NetEase has launched Season 8 of Dunk City Dynasty, its street-style basketball title. The update adds NBA players Tyrese Haliburton and Myles Turner to the in-game roster. Haliburton is modeled as a playmaker focused on ball movement and creating space for teammates. Turner appears as a two-way center emphasizing verticality and defensive reads.

Gameplay changes center on seasonal progression and rewards. No-Penalty Challenges remove trophy deductions from the Season Journey so players can pursue milestone rewards without losing rank. Players can earn up to four Party Blind Boxes per day. Two-day login rewards grant the Rewards Summer Shade bundle, which applies special on-court visual effects and provides attribute boosts.

Cosmetic options and limited-time content return and expand in Season 8. The Awakening of Sneakers Print Workshop lets players change appearances without affecting stats. The Black Cat Set will be available in the card pool from June 24 through July 21. Two treasure hunts, Grinning Man and Unknown Link, run during the season and offer additional outfit unlocks.

Season 8 continues the game’s pattern of adding named NBA players alongside timed events and cosmetic drops. The update refreshes rosters and expands options for player progression and character customization.
