EA Sports FC 27 Title Update 1.0.1 Fixes The Grounds and UT Bugs

Title Update 1.0.1 is live on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch, repairing bugs in The Grounds, Ultimate Team UI, gameplay sliders and platform-specific features; competitive balance unchanged.

EA released Title Update 1.0.1 for EA Sports FC 27 on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, applying fixes across PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. The patch addresses mode-specific errors, user interface issues and platform bugs while keeping competitive gameplay settings unchanged.

The Grounds received multiple fixes. Players who were unable to perform five-star skill moves when their avatar had the required skill level can now execute those moves. The update also resolves failures to join matches via hot join and addresses a condition that could cause high ping during league matches. In 11v11 sessions, the patch increases the effect of fatigue on long-term stamina.

Gameplay defaults were adjusted for non-competitive modes. The Authentic Gameplay default values for the Jockey and Sprint Jockey Speed sliders were raised slightly for Career mode and kick-off matches. The patch does not change Competitive Gameplay settings. The update also corrects an issue where custom controller presets sometimes failed to register inputs.

Ultimate Team received an interface fix that prevented the UI from becoming unresponsive when selecting a player item that did not meet the requirements of the Filter Evolutions By Player feature. The title update also includes general stability improvements and miscellaneous audio and visual fixes.

Platform-specific corrections were applied. On Nintendo Switch, installed DLC commentary languages can now be selected. On PlayStation 5, the patch fixes visual glitches that could appear on the main menu.

Patch notes state that no balance changes to Competitive Gameplay are included in update 1.0.1. The developer’s notes indicate the release focused on correcting issues reported since early access and launch. Update 1.0.1 is the first title patch following the game’s early access period and targets stability and quality-of-life fixes rather than competitive rebalancing.
