Fortnite Reload Elite Series crowns $1.025M duos at EWC Paris

Fortnite Reload Elite Series 2026 Championship will take place in Paris as part of the Esports World Cup from August 19 to August 22. The event is the first global championship for the Reload game mode and will be held offline with global streams available on the game’s official Facebook, YouTube and Twitch channels.

Forty duos representing professional esports organizations will compete. The tournament uses a three-stage format that begins with a Group Stage on August 19–20. Teams are split into two groups of 20 and play across eight maps. The top seven duos from each group qualify directly for the Finals. Duos finishing 8th through 17th in each group move to the Survival Stage.

The total prize pool is $1,025,000. The champion duo will receive $260,000, the runner-up $150,000 and third place $90,000. An MVP award of $25,000 will be given to an individual player. Prize money is distributed down the standings, with payouts decreasing to $2,000 for the duos finishing 39th and 40th.

Survival matches will be played on August 21. Twenty duos will compete across 10 maps to earn points, and the top six finishers from Survival will advance to the Finals. The grand final and the championship match are scheduled for August 22, when the event champion will be decided.

Participating organizations include established international and regional clubs. Announced entrants include Fnatic, Team Vitality, Dignitas, ZETA DIVISION, FURIA, Leviatán, BIG, AG.AL, Al Ahli Esports, Aurora Gaming, Elite Esports, FUT Esports, ONIC Esports, Geekay Esports, REJECT, ROC Esports, S8UL Esports, Team Falcons and Twisted Minds, each fielding a single duo in the Reload Series Finals.

All players were required to be signed and publicly announced by May 1, 2026. Each club is limited to entering one duo into the Finals roster.

The Reload Elite Series will be one of the mobile events featured at the Esports World Cup in Paris. The competition will run over four days, with live production for attendees and simultaneous global streams for viewers who cannot attend in person.
