Founders skins return with League Classic
Riot Games revealed Founders Goth Annie, Founders Black Alistar, Founders Silver Kayle and Founders King Rammus — redesigned rare skins tied to League Classic. Full details arrive July 11.
Riot Games announced a new Founders skin line that revives four early, rare League of Legends cosmetics with updated visuals: Founders Goth Annie, Founders Black Alistar, Founders Silver Kayle and Founders King Rammus. The collection is linked to the upcoming League Classic mode.
The four skins are based on cosmetics that originally appeared as Collector’s Edition items or beta-only releases. Riot described the set as redesigned versions rather than straight re-releases, with visual touches that reference the look of the game’s 2009 era.
Riot has not set an official release date for the Founders skins. League Classic was announced on June 26, and Riot plans to disclose exact timing and the rewards players can earn from League Classic during the MSI 2026 Finals on July 11.
Pricing has not been confirmed. Datamining indicates the Founders skins will not be sold individually for RP and instead will be unlocked through progression systems in League Classic. League Classic is expected to include a dedicated battle pass, a token rewards system and an in-mode shop, which suggests the skins will be available through one or more of those channels.
Players will likely need to play League Classic and advance through that mode’s rewards track to obtain the skins. Riot plans to offer League Classic as a Featured Game Mode inside the main League client, so a separate download should not be required to access the mode.
The Founders collection restores several of the game’s rare early cosmetics, which were originally distributed in limited runs or tied to early promotions. Riot will provide details on exact unlock requirements, pricing and any time-limited availability during the MSI Finals on July 11.
