How Many Dudes? will add seven new characters in its 1.1 update on October 29 across all platforms. The update will also introduce Challenge Mode and adjust the game’s upgrades system.

The new characters are Basketball, Football, Hockey, Tennis, Soccer, Coach and Broadcaster Dudes. They will add sports-themed options to battles in which players send groups of characters against opponents.

Changes to the upgrades system will give players more ways to adjust their builds, including additional options for increasing character stats. Challenge Mode will provide another way to play beyond the existing battles.

Butterscotch Shenanigans developed How Many Dudes?, which has sold more than 300,000 copies across multiple platforms. The roguelike strategy game is based on the question of how many ordinary people would be needed to defeat a gorilla in hand-to-hand combat. Its opponents include wolves, gods and bloodthirsty toddlers.
