HoYoverse’s Petit Planet lands on mobile Winter 2026

HoYoverse will release Petit Planet on Android and iOS in Winter 2026; the App Store lists Dec. 31, 2026 and global pre-registration is open.

HoYoverse will release Petit Planet on Android and iOS in Winter 2026. The game’s App Store listing currently shows a Dec. 31, 2026 release date; that date may be adjusted before launch. Global pre-registration is available on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

Petit Planet is a life-simulation game in which players take on the role of a Planet Tender and receive a personal planet in the in-game Starsea. Players can construct and decorate a home, reshape terrain and coastline, and modify the sky. Core activities include farming, fishing, cooking, beachcombing and exploring with a range of in-game residents.

The game sends players into the Starsea to find new locations, creatures, materials and recipes. It includes a social area called the Galactic Bazaar where players can meet, trade items, craft and interact with other travellers.

HoYoverse first revealed Petit Planet with a logo and short teaser in September 2025. The title ran a closed beta test in November 2025, followed by a wider Stardrift Test in April 2026. The studio showed a special video for the game during gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 and then opened global pre-registration.

HoYoverse describes Petit Planet as a mobile-focused life simulation distinct from its larger free-to-play projects. The studio has confirmed Android and iOS as the target platforms and the Winter 2026 launch window. Players who pre-register through the app stores will receive updates and notifications about early access and release information.

The game’s visuals and character designs use a soft, approachable aesthetic. In addition to individual planet customization, Petit Planet highlights social interaction through NPC neighbours and the Galactic Bazaar where players can exchange items and recipes.
