Legion Match: match-3 monster RPG launches on mobile Sept 17

Moduse Apps will release Legion Match, a match-3 puzzle RPG linking tile combos to auto-battles, on Android and iOS on Sept 17, 2026; pre-registration is open.

Moduse Apps announced Legion Match, a match-3 puzzle role-playing game, will launch on Android and iOS on Sept 17, 2026. The developer opened pre-registration on the Google Play Store and the App Store.

The game screen divides into a puzzle board on the lower half and a battlefield on the upper half. Players summon monsters by matching three tiles; longer chains add more creatures to the fight. Combat resolves automatically after the final tile is cleared, so the number and strength of summoned units depend on puzzle performance and any modifiers chosen before battle.

Combos starting at three trigger basic attacks, while an eight-combo chain unlocks a wider area attack. Keeping a fast pace activates a RUSH state that raises combo scores and grants ability cards. Players use those cards to modify upcoming fights, selecting options such as increased attack power, stronger defense, or extra summons.

Legion Match includes 218 collectible monsters across six rarity levels. Each creature has unique abilities and elemental traits such as fire, ice, and dark. The game features 520 stages across ten different zones and 50 boss encounters.

Players can equip and upgrade a hero with weapons, armor, and accessories. Equipment can be enhanced and fused to improve performance in stages and boss fights. Progression systems tie into equipment enhancement, fusion, stage completion and boss rewards.

An uncommon development detail: the monster assets were created for a government-funded project called Summon Monster that ended about a decade ago after its development team disbanded. Moduse Apps repurposed those assets for Legion Match and incorporated them into the collectible roster.

Legion Match will be available on Android and iOS on Sept 17, 2026. Pre-registration is available through the Google Play Store and the App Store.
