Mobile Legends Patch 2.1.94: Hero Nerfs and Targeting Change
Advanced Server patch 2.1.94 reduces power of Bruno, Odette and Kaja, tweaks Masha’s Skill 1, introduces ‘Lowest Effective HP’ targeting and adds system and Chaos Clash updates.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang patch 2.1.94 is rolling out on the Advanced Server with a set of hero nerfs, control changes and system and mode updates for testing before any live release.
The update reduces specific hero strengths and adjusts ability behavior. Revamped Bruno’s Skill 1 base damage is reduced from 100–175 to 75–150, and the skill’s cast no longer interrupts basic attacks. Odette receives several early-game reductions: passive bounce damage falls from 144–200 to 106–190, Skill 1 slow decreases from 40% to 30%, and her passive base movement speed is lowered from 250 to 240 while gaining a new effect that grants 10% movement speed in the river. Masha’s Skill 1 has a 20% shorter foreswing and base damage is reduced from 300–550 to 250–450. Revamped Kaja’s ultimate has been slowed by changing the lasso’s shrinking process.
Battlefield controls receive a targeting priority change. The option previously labeled “Lowest HP” is renamed “Lowest Effective HP” and now factors in both a target’s current HP and defense when selecting locks. The stated goal is to prioritize targets that are objectively easier to kill rather than those with the lowest raw HP. The Closest Target and Lowest HP Percent options remain unchanged. Karina, Karrie, Lesley and Thamuz will temporarily keep the original targeting priority while the change is applied more broadly.
System-level tweaks are part of the patch. The Highlights feature receives optimizations being rolled out across the Advanced Server. Season Achievement thresholds have been adjusted with changes to score requirements and numerical tweaks to some tasks. The test round for the Team-up Group feature concluded in this patch cycle.
Mode adjustments focus on Chaos Clash. Attributes for all equipment in that mode have been adjusted, the effects of numerous fragments have been changed, and some equipment rarities were upgraded. Guest heroes in Chaos Clash, including Hylos, Chip, Estes and Helcurt, were modified to align with the new balance and equipment settings.
The patch notes state these changes are being trialed on the Advanced Server for further testing. The notes add that the targeting adjustment is intended to make it easier to secure kills and that wider deployment will depend on testing results and player feedback.
