Monster Hunter Outlanders to hit mobile; pre-reg open

Level Infinite says Monster Hunter Outlanders will arrive on Android and iOS this year with four-player co-op and pre-registration open. The App Store lists a December 15, 2026 release window.
Level Infinite announced Monster Hunter Outlanders will launch on Android and iOS this year and opened pre-registration on the Google Play Store and App Store. The App Store listing currently shows a December 15, 2026 release window.
The game is an open-world action role-playing entry in the Monster Hunter franchise developed by TiMi Studio Group under license from Capcom. Development began in 2022 and the title was publicly revealed in 2024. Level Infinite has conducted multiple closed beta tests; the third beta is currently active ahead of the planned release.
Monster Hunter Outlanders lets players explore large regions to hunt original monsters, gather materials and craft gear. Players can tackle challenges solo or join up to three others for four-player hunts. Combat uses seven classic Monster Hunter weapon types, including the Great Sword and Long Sword, with weapon-specific move sets and additional follow-up attacks.
The game introduces three companion characters called Buddies: Palico, Rutaco and Trillan, which assist players during hunts. It also features new creatures, a flagship Elder Dragon named Ruger Aidal and exclusive Radiant Species whose forms and behavior change with their environments.
Level Infinite showed additional gameplay footage and details at gamescom 2026. The developer described the mobile release as focused on retaining core hunting and gear-crafting systems while adapting them for open-world play and cooperative sessions.
Pre-registration is available now on both major mobile stores. Level Infinite has invited players who pre-register to receive updates and information about early access and future beta opportunities tied to the release and test programs.
Capcom retains the Monster Hunter license, TiMi Studio Group is listed as the developer and Level Infinite is handling publishing for the mobile launch.
