My Talking Tom 2 adds Spooky Quest underground mode

Outfit7 has released Spooky Quest as an update to My Talking Tom 2. The mode is available now and adds 150 levels spread across three underground worlds.

The update begins when players find an elevator under Tom’s house that opens into darker caverns. Players take direct control of Tom and guide him through levels that contain hidden loot, lost items to recover for in-game characters, and a variety of environmental challenges. Controls are designed for straightforward input while some obstacles require precise timing and positioning.

Enemies in the levels include rats, snakes, hazardous fish and ghosts. Environmental hazards include falling crates, slippery slime pits, collapsing paths and lava sections that can end a run. The levels present a mix of short runs and longer sequences that require repeated attempts to clear.

Spooky Quest is divided into three zones. The Basement serves as the introductory area. The Crystal Cave offers increased rewards and greater challenges in a sparkling setting. The Lava Zone raises the difficulty further and contains the highest-value rewards.

Progression uses a new Spooky Currency earned during runs. Players can spend it on cosmetic outfits, extra continues and temporary in-run boosts. A central hub provides permanent upgrades for future runs, including increases to Tom’s maximum life, movement speed and mining gear. The update also adds temporary boosts, collectibles linked to Talking Tom characters and exclusive spooky-themed outfits.

The update follows the recent backyard content for My Talking Tom 2. Spooky Quest adds level-based exploration and platform-style challenges to the game’s existing mix of pet care, quick activities and customization features.
