Netmarble presented its bishoujo RPG Pearl in Blue at Tokyo Game Show 2026 and released a new promotional video that highlights the game’s heroines and their everyday interactions. The company staged a Cosplay Show and a Romantic Comedy Improv Stage at its TGS booth during the event.
The title is in development at Netmarble N2 and was first revealed in July 2026. At a special media presentation, Development Producer John Hyunjun and Netmarble Japan Business Division General Manager Yamashita Yamato introduced the game’s characters, setting and design approach. The publisher released a new PV that follows the player character’s daily life as a manager and showcases a range of interactions with the heroines.
Pearl in Blue uses a Monthly Romantic Comedy concept that brings new heroines and storylines on a rolling schedule rather than focusing on a single long-term romance. Netmarble described character interactions, narrative segments and social exchanges as central components that will work alongside combat and progression systems common to mobile RPGs. The game is targeted for mobile platforms.
The presentation included guests from across entertainment and voice acting. Appearances featured comedian Yusuke Inoue of NON STYLE, freelance writer Gemuboku, voice actors Yurina Kikuchi and Miku Ayase, and MC Hyakka Ryouran. The Cosplay Show included Shinonome Umi as Nika, Shinozaki Kokoro as Ichiha, Kitaro as Yotsuba and Yamamoto Shiori as Miho. The improv segment featured comedians Yuzuru Kawai and Naoki Inada of Einstein, alongside Nakaru Nakano and Yusetsu Nozawa of Nightingale Dance.
Attendees at the Netmarble booth received original Pearl in Blue stickers in five different designs. Netmarble stated it plans ongoing content updates tied to monthly heroine introductions as development continues and after launch.
