Petit Planet final beta adds snowfall, new neighbors

HoYoverse has launched the final beta test for Petit Planet on Android, iOS and PC as it prepares for a full release planned for this winter. The company posted details about the beta on its HoYoLAB forum and said the test will help refine systems and collect player feedback.

The update introduces a Season of Snowfall that appears once the Luca Arbor reaches Level 9. Snow changes the planet’s look and unlocks weather-specific resources and surprises. Players must complete the “Melody of the Conch” quest to access the seasonal story. Daily tasks tied to the season award in-game items, cosmetics and Lucasprouts, the game’s progression currency.

Three new Neighbors — Heyu, Manman and Tika — appear during Starsea Voyages and can be invited to live on players’ planets. The Starsea Map has been expanded so players can sail with Neighbors to previously unexplored Islets for cooperative exploration and resource gathering.

The Galactic Bazaar now supports group fishing with other Planet Tenders and adds a new table game for social play. At the Planet Station, Vibe Beacons will reflect impressions left by visiting friends and influence how planets are displayed to others.

Several core systems received updates. Cooking now supports batch preparation and higher Cooking Skill levels can produce dishes with special effects. The Inspo Card system allows learning multiple cards at once. Flower breeding adds new genetic variations to enable more complex crossbreeding. Decoration options, hair-dyeing, Blueprint tools and Planet Profile customization have been expanded to give players more ways to personalize planets and interact with others.

HoYoverse first revealed Petit Planet with a logo and teaser in September 2025 and announced a wider launch window in August 2026. The company says the final beta will continue through testing phases ahead of the planned winter release; players can find participation details and a full list of changes on HoYoLAB.
