S-GAME released an 11-minute gameplay trailer for Phantom Blade Zero that demonstrates extended combat sequences and cinematic martial-arts staging. The developer confirmed Donnie Yen served as a creative consultant on the game’s action. The title is scheduled to launch Oct. 29, 2026 for PC and as a timed PlayStation 5 exclusive.

The trailer begins with a full boss encounter and moves through a series of playable and scripted scenes. Footage shows combo-driven melee, precision dodging, quick-time events and cutscenes interwoven with gameplay. Camera framing and choreography reflect techniques commonly used in martial-arts films.

S-GAME credited Donnie Yen, known for his martial-arts film work, with advising on choreography and scene staging. The developer noted his input focused on the flow of action between player control and cinematic beats.

Gameplay elements visible in the trailer include rapid combo chains, handling multiple foes at once and high-intensity boss fights alongside quieter narrative moments. The video includes character-focused scenes and calmer interludes as well as sequences centered on combat mechanics.

S-GAME described Phantom Blade Zero as an action-adventure set in a dark-fantasy setting that pairs martial-arts action with narrative scenes. The studio framed the recent trailer as a demonstration of the game’s combat systems and cinematic direction ahead of the October release.

The developer announced that the game has gone gold and opened pre-orders on Aug. 11. S-GAME reported the title surpassed one million wishlists prior to launch. The PlayStation 5 version is a timed exclusive and the game will not appear on other home consoles for at least a year after release.
