S-GAME confirmed that Phantom Blade Zero has gone gold and that pre-orders and an 11-minute trailer will go live Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. PT (10 a.m. Beijing on Aug. 12). The developer set the release date for Oct. 29, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The studio described the trailer as a broader look at the game’s world and story and said it will introduce new characters alongside extended combat footage. S-GAME also teased “something unexpected” without providing further details.
Pre-orders will open on the PlayStation Store, Steam and the Epic Games Store when the trailer premieres. The company has not released pricing, edition details or information about pre-order incentives.
Going gold indicates the game’s master build is complete and ready for duplication or digital distribution. In a brief statement, S-GAME wrote, “Development on Phantom Blade Zero has wrapped up,” adding the trailer will reveal more.
The announcement did not include technical specifications, PC system requirements or details about cross-save, cross-play or additional console versions. The Aug. 11 trailer and pre-order window will provide the next confirmed details on the title’s story, characters and combat systems.
