Pokémon Unite adds Jolteon, Flareon; October seasons start

Pokémon Unite will add Jolteon and Flareon to its roster on Oct. 13, 2026. Battle Pass Season 46 and Ranked Season 40 are scheduled to begin Oct. 1, with the Battle Pass running through Oct. 31.

Jolteon is being released as a Speedster-type Pokémon intended for mid and jungle play. It is described as having short windows of high burst damage and enhanced mobility that let it rotate between lanes and target low-health opponents with its Unite Move.

Flareon will join as an all-rounder that deals area burst fire damage. Its Unite Move reportedly stores heat and then releases it in a single, powerful burst that affects nearby enemies.

Both Eevee evolutions will be obtainable through commemorative in-game events without direct purchase. The developer has scheduled the character releases for mid-October while the monthly seasons run from Oct. 1, placing the new characters after the season start.

Battle Pass Season 46 opens Oct. 1 and closes Oct. 31. The Pokémon Unite JP account posted that the season’s premium rewards include a Dark Magician-style Dragonite holowear and new profile customizations. The standard Battle Pass is priced at 690 Aeos Gems and the Premium Battle Pass at 1,190 Aeos Gems. Season activities will award License Points through special events. Premium purchasers will receive exclusive items such as a holowear effect spray, colored contact lens, a Battle Pass–exclusive sticker, a profile background and frame, and an exclusive hair color.

Ranked Season 40 begins Oct. 1 and will use Theia Sky Ruins (Groudon) as the ranked map for October. Players who reach Legend rank can claim seasonal rewards that include exclusive trainer outfits, profile backgrounds, and stickers.

The October schedule follows the game’s recent pattern of monthly battle passes, rotating ranked maps, and periodic character releases. The dates give players set windows for earning season rewards and for accessing the two new Eevee evolutions when they become available on Oct. 13.
