Replaced Android Launch Set For Dec. 8 After 900,000 Players

Replaced will launch on Android through Google Play Games on Dec. 8, 2026. Sad Cat Studios and Atari confirmed that Polish studio The Knights of U is porting the game.

Players will be able to buy the game once and access it on compatible Android phones, tablets and PC. Progress will sync between devices.

The Android version will include the complete story of R.E.A.C.H., an artificial intelligence placed in a human body against its will. R.E.A.C.H. explores Phoenix City, an alternate 1980s American city shaped by a nuclear disaster, while investigating the Phoenix Corporation and its plans.

Replaced is a 2.5D action platformer with pixel art, cinematic exploration and close-quarters combat. The game includes platforming, chases and fights as R.E.A.C.H. investigates the events behind its transformation.

The game launched on PC and Xbox Series X|S in spring 2026 and has since surpassed 900,000 players across all platforms. Post-launch patches have addressed bugs and other technical issues reported after release.
