Smurfs Arrive in Talking Tom & Friends: World

Outfit7 rolled out a Smurf Village in the latest update to its mobile game Talking Tom & Friends: World. The new in-game area places miniature mushroom houses and classic Smurf characters inside the game world and is available now.

Players can meet characters including Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Brainy, Storm, Gargamel and his cat Azrael. The update adds hands-on activities such as collecting litter, recycling, composting and planting flowers. Children can direct character interactions, role-play scenes and explore the village at their own pace.

The update also introduces Smurf-themed outfits and accessories for player avatars. Available items draw on known character elements like Papa Smurf’s red hat, Smurfette’s dress, Brainy’s glasses, a farmer’s hat, Handy’s overalls and Gargamel’s cloak. Players can mix and match pieces to create original looks rather than replicate exact character designs.

Some Smurf locations and items are included in the base update, while additional areas and cosmetics are optional in-app purchases. Parents can buy access to premium locations such as Papa Smurf and Smurfette’s mushroom house and Gargamel’s Castle. Those premium zones add more characters and activities, including a potion-mixing feature tied to Gargamel’s lair.

The Smurf collaboration joins previous franchise tie-ins for Talking Tom & Friends, which have included partnerships with other well-known brands. Outfit7 integrated the Smurfs’ visual identities into the game while allowing players to alter outfits and settings through customization options.

The Smurf Village content is part of the current game update and can be accessed by players who have updated Talking Tom & Friends: World. Optional purchases are clearly marked in the game for parents who choose to buy additional locations or cosmetic items.
