Sonic returns to Asphalt Legends with Collector Mode

Asphalt Legends has added Sonic the Hedgehog content through July 21, restoring Collector Mode with ring collection, classic Sonic audio, themed decals and a free Chao decal.

The Sonic the Hedgehog crossover has returned to Asphalt Legends and runs through July 21. The update restores Collector Mode, a timed race variant in which players collect rings scattered on the track while competing to finish first. Classic Sonic music and franchise sound effects play during these races.

A free Chao decal is available to all players for the event period. Additional Sonic- and Amy-themed decals can be unlocked by completing in-game objectives and by participating in featured challenges.

Featured decal applications include the SSC Ultimate Aero TT with a Sonic motif, the Apex AP-0 styled for Knuckles, and a new W Motors Lykan HyperSport Neon Edition featuring Amy Rose. The themed looks can be used in returning boss mode challenges.

The crossover follows a similar appearance in the game last year and coincides with the 35th anniversary of the Sonic franchise. The developer restored the ring-collection mechanic and franchise audio elements that appeared in the prior event.

The event adds time-limited cosmetic rewards and mode variants and does not alter core racing mechanics permanently. Players can access the content by launching Asphalt Legends while the event is active.
