GTA 6 pre-orders open June 25; Ultimate Edition $100

Rockstar confirmed pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto 6 open at midnight local time on June 25. The standard edition is priced at $80 and the Ultimate Edition at $100. The developer set the release date for Nov. 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Retail boxes will contain a download code rather than a playable disc.

The Ultimate Edition packages premium vehicles, weapons, apparel and extra content. Rockstar noted those extras are distributed through the game’s chapters, with items unlocking as players advance through the stories of protagonists Jason and Lucia instead of arriving all at once at launch.

Vehicle additions listed for the Ultimate Edition include a 1995 Grotti Cheetah, a 1967 Vapid Dominator Buggy, a Dinka Enduro motorcycle, a Crest kayak and a Shitzu Squalo, along with the Ganado Retro Build modkit. Weapon bonuses include personalized sidearms-Jason’s Girardi ES9 and Lucia’s Klose K17-with detailed engravings, plus the Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers styled after Vice City-era designs. Exclusive apparel includes Jason’s pastel linen suit and Lucia’s red sequin mini dress.

Rockstar outlined a pre-order incentive titled “Welcome Back to Vice City” that bundles a 1955 Vapid Stanier sedan, a personal garage near Ocean Beach, period-inspired outfits and hairstyles for both protagonists, and a themed weapon pattern.

The announcement follows weeks of retailer listings and leaks and sets the official purchase window, pricing and edition details ahead of the November release for current-generation consoles.
