Chasing Kaleidorider playtest lets players try first arcs
Chasing Kaleidorider launched its first playtest, letting players play the first three story arcs and sample motorcycle combat, relationship scenes, boss fights and exclusive banners.
Chasing Kaleidorider has launched its first playtest, offering players access to the game’s first three story arcs and a sample of its motorcycle-focused combat and relationship segments.
Set in the near-future city of Terminus, the game places players in charge of guiding a team of Kaleidoriders who fight monsters. Each rider competes on a personalized motorcycle and combat centers on fast, high-speed encounters that emphasize movement and vehicle-based maneuvers.
Between missions, players can deepen bonds with selected riders by taking them on dates at romantic locations. Those relationship segments affect character bonds and can influence narrative outcomes while using progression mechanics similar to romance-adjacent role-playing games.
The playtest includes the first three main chapters, exclusive boss encounters and special character banners that provide early access to some in-game rewards and recruitment opportunities. Participants can experience story, combat systems and character interactions in an extended preview.
Some players raised concerns about the playtest’s promoted enhanced drop rates and the marketing of rarer items during a test phase. The developer has not published a full production schedule or a final launch date.
The playtest is intended to evaluate core systems, collect player feedback and stress-test combat and progression loops ahead of a wider release.
