Club Soko turns nightclub graffiti into mobile Sokoban

Club Soko, a Sokoban-style puzzle game about nudging through crowds to tag a nightclub, launched on iOS and Android for $4.99. A free demo is on Newgrounds.

Club Soko has launched on the App Store and Google Play as a premium mobile game priced at $4.99, with a free demo available on Newgrounds. The game was available for pre-order a few weeks before release.

Developer Miracle Tea built Club Soko as a puzzle game inspired by Sokoban. Players control Maude, a graffiti artist, and move her across crowded dance floors to reach walls that must be tagged. Instead of pushing crates, players shift groups of partygoers and work around fixed stage obstacles to clear a path.

Levels arrange different characters and hazards that change how Maude can move through the space. Bouncers block routes, intoxicated patrons move unpredictably, and mime characters create distinct positioning challenges. Each nonplayer character type alters the crowd’s behavior, requiring players to plan sequences of nudges to complete a level.

The game uses bright, high-contrast colors and retro interface elements. Miracle Tea designed the visual style as a reference to its background in Flash-era development, and the presentation aims to match that older browser-era aesthetic while keeping puzzle layouts concise.

Club Soko won a Big Indie Pitch competition at a London industry event in 2025. The title is distributed as a paid app on iOS and Android. Players who want to try the puzzles and visual style before buying can download the free demo on Newgrounds.
