Highway Heroes truck tycoon launches on iOS and Android
Highway Heroes launched on iOS and Android, letting players build and customize truck fleets, assign loads, manage routes, fuel and repairs, and use idle mechanics across US states.
Highway Heroes is a truck-tycoon simulation that launched on iOS and Android after a soft-launch period last year. The free-to-play title is available on Apple’s App Store and Google Play.
Players manage trucking fleets across United States states, assigning loads, planning routes and balancing income against rising fuel costs. The game requires scheduling repairs and keeping vehicles operational to maintain revenue.
An idle option automates some revenue generation for players who prefer less hands-on play. Players who manage assignments and maintenance directly can influence profit by optimizing routes and vehicle uptime.
Customization options include paint schemes, decals and lighting rigs for individual trucks. Vehicles are presented in an isometric view and menus and controls are designed for small-screen use to reduce interface clutter.
Progression follows common tycoon mechanics: early play focuses on acquiring and upgrading vehicles, while later stages place greater emphasis on operating costs and downtime as the fleet grows. The launch did not include statements from the developer or publisher.
