Com2uS debuts ColorSweeper, a Minesweeper-Nonogram hybrid
Com2uS has released ColorSweeper, developed by Arrkka. The mobile puzzle blends Minesweeper deduction with Nonogram picture-building and is available on iOS and Android.
Com2uS has released ColorSweeper, developed by Arrkka. Available on iOS and Android, the mobile puzzle asks players to deduce the color of each cell on a grid to reveal an image while managing a limited number of incorrect guesses.
Each board supplies clues that indicate how many cells of a particular color sit next to or within patterns. Players use those hints to mark cells; correctly identified cells gradually form a picture similar to Nonograms. The game caps the number of wrong marks, a penalty inspired by Minesweeper.
Arrkka described the puzzles as more abstract than many picture-puzzle titles, requiring players to use logical inference rather than rely on obvious outlines. Clues appear on the board to encourage local deduction and to limit the effectiveness of random guessing.
Marketing materials for ColorSweeper include adverts that make heavy use of AI-generated imagery and animation, particularly for the Korean market. Com2uS and Arrkka highlighted gameplay and the interface’s clue system as central elements of the title.
Com2uS publishes a range of mobile games but does not frequently release traditional puzzle titles; ColorSweeper is a new entry in that category. The title was developed by Arrkka and is available to download on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
The game combines deduction-based mechanics with a color-focused rule set for players who prefer logic-driven picture puzzles.
