KRAFTON India launches 90-day BGMI Campus MVP program
KRAFTON India launched a 90-day BGMI Campus MVP program naming 150 student ambassadors from 17 IITs and 28 NITs. The program runs July 15–Oct 14, 2026, with rewards up to ₹15,000.
KRAFTON India launched the 90-day BGMI Campus MVP Program on July 15. The initiative runs through October 14, 2026, and appointed 150 student ambassadors drawn from 17 Indian Institutes of Technology and 28 National Institutes of Technology. The ambassadors were selected from more than 16,000 applications submitted by students at over 5,000 institutions. An additional 100 applicants were placed on a reserved shortlist.
Selected students receive BGMI Partner status and the title Campus MVP. That status allows ambassadors to organize official matches, host meetups and run campus tournaments at their institutions. KRAFTON expects ambassadors to plan events, manage local tournaments and act as points of contact between the company and campus communities.
The program is structured in three consecutive phases over the 90 days. KRAFTON did not publish detailed timelines for each phase or the specific evaluation criteria for rewards at launch.
Rewards are divided into four tiers: Entry, Mid, Top and Conqueror. Entry-level benefits include a welcome kit plus food and shopping vouchers. Mid-level rewards include in-game currency (UC), gaming peripherals and accessories. Top-level and Conqueror ambassadors are eligible for backpacks, in-game outfits and cash awards up to ₹15,000. Students recruited by campus ambassadors can receive food coupons, UC and other participation vouchers.
KRAFTON has previously run college-focused initiatives such as BGMI Campus Tours and grassroots tournaments. The company frames the Campus MVP Program as a continuation of those efforts to broaden BGMI’s presence among student players in India. KRAFTON indicated that runners-up and participants across campuses will continue to receive incentives to encourage participation.
